2020 Senate Resolution (SJ6)

No deadlines on equality

On February 13, 2020 the House of Representatives passed HJRes79 to recognize and remove the arbitrary deadline on the 28th Amendment (Equal Rights). SJRes6 was the companion resolution for the Senate.

Passage of SJRes6 would have been the final step required by Congress to recognize the 28th Amendment (Equal Rights). Because the 116th Congress ended without action on this resolution there will be a new resolution with a new number during the 117th Congress.

We have kept this page live on our site in case anyone wants to look up a Senator from 2020 and whether (s)he had signed onto SJ6.
