Join us as we work to add the 28th Amendment (Equal Rights) to the United States Constitution.
VoteEquality evolved from VAratifyERA and is led by a diverse group of experienced advocates from the last three states to ratify the Equal Rights Amendment (Virginia, Illinois, and Nevada). The team has grown to include advocates from all around the nation.
Equality, diversity, and inclusion are American imperatives. To dismantle systemic inequality, these values must be priorities for policy makers in 2020 and beyond. We need your help to elevate these values in conversations and onto major party platforms. Over 165 constitutions include gender equality and so should ours.
Join us and together we can make history!
To increase awareness that gender equality is not in the U.S. Constitution and inspire support for gender equality leaders.
Our vision is to ensure the fully-ratified, 28th Amendment (Equal Rights) is enshrined in the U.S. Constitution to bring America one step closer to delivering on its promise of liberty and justice for all.
THE 28TH AMENDMENT
international constitutions include gender equality. The U.S. Constitution does not.
The United States is no longer in the top one-third of countries when ranked by gender equality.
America is one of only two countries in the world that does not guarantee paid maternity leave.
Our gender equality gap costs us $2,000,000,000,000 every year.
