What Can I Do?

With just a few easy steps you can help spread awareness!

Follow these easy steps, including a few options from our advocacy toolkit. Do what makes you happy and boosts your energy. Interject equality into your daily life and conversations, particularly on social media.

Have a few "go to" conversation starters that spark curiosity or tell a personal story about why you care about constitutional gender equality.

The 28th Amendment was fully ratified on January 27, 2020 (yay Nevada, Illinois, and Virginia).  As the result of much work by many, an updated copy of our Constitution is now available.  Purchase one for yourself, friends, and family!

Social media platforms provide key opportunities for you to advocate for constitutional gender equality.  Share our posts, connect with allies, recruit new advocates, publicize events, and persuade important stakeholders.  Consider using these priority hashtags: #VoteEqualityUS  #FixOurConstitution  #TheFutureIs Equal  #Equality4Everyone

Asking a question at a candidate forum/town hall is one of the most important things any advocate can do. When you ask whether or not a candidate supports the fully-ratified 28th Amendment (Equal Rights) you not only help increase the priority of this issue to the candidate and staff but you will educate members of the audience as well.

Hold an Artists4ERA art event, film screening, ice cream social, or just an informal get together to connect with members of the community.  Consider including local experts, legislators, and another advocacy group to further expand your reach. Drop us a line at hello@voteequality.us and we will help you organize your ERA event.
